AirPods 4

Apple’s AirPods product update cycle is now 2.5 to 3 years; the standard AirPods and AirPods Max will be upgraded next year, and the next-generation AirPods Pro 3 will be released in 2025.

According to reporter Mark Gurman’s latest rumor, the upcoming AirPods 4, which will be introduced next year, will include several new features that will make them attractive to consumers.

It’s worth mentioning that the new AirPods 4 will be available in two variants at two different price points, with Apple seeking to replace the AirPods 3 and the lower-priced AirPods 2.

The new AirPods are believed to look similar to the current AirPods and AirPods Pro but with shorter ear stalks. The fit has improved, but it’s not yet official whether Apple will switch to silicone earbuds.

At the same time, the AirPods 4’s high-end model will include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).

In addition, Apple aims to introduce a hearing aid capability to AirPods in a firmware update early next year, along with a hearing test to warn AirPods owners if they have hearing loss difficulties.

The AirPods Max’s upgrade next year is expected to be limited, featuring only new colors and improvements to the USB-C connector. The AirPods Pro will not be altered until 2025, as Apple will release a new design focusing on comfort and a speedier chip (H3).

iPhone 16 Shoot button

We’ve previously stated that Apple’s iPhone 16 series may include a new button known internally as the “Capture Button” next year. Mark Gurman has now added that there would be a specific button “for shooting videos.”

According to a fresh render of the iPhone 16 prototype posted by MacRumors, the capture button will be situated in the bottom right corner of the iPhone 16, below the power button.

The shooting button is believed to be capacitive, with haptic feedback and potentially a pressure sensor. It is now thought that images or films (particularly spatial videos) can be taken depending on the degree of finger pressure.

Are you using AirPods? If yes, do you think the next generation is attractive? Please clap if you enjoyed it and leave a comment.
