256 GB SSD won't cut it for most but the simplest tasks. E.g. for SW development Xcode eats SSD space a lot for SDKs and temporary files and caches (40 GB currently on my machine). And in general there is the "system data" space, temporary data and caches for various applications…

That’s not included in general users I guess. If you mention coding part in your requirements, I think you should consider my recommendation for professionals, not general users.
