Initially, I wasn’t sure about testing an Oppo device. As a daily iOS user and fan, I didn’t want to move too far from my comfort zone. Testing a smartphone personally for 2 to 3 weeks can be quite a hurdle for someone used to the iOS ecosystem. However, the sleek design, the silent mode slider, the animations, and the aesthetics of this €1200 Android flagship intrigued me.

Unboxing the Find X8 Pro, I was hesitant but quickly impressed. With its ultra-thin aluminum and textured, frosted glass back, the Cosmos Ring feels great in the hand. The prominent camera module with a beautifully symmetrical design immediately inspired confidence.
