Huawei Nova 12 with Kirin 5G and a new tiny folding is here. How much does the real-world Realme GT5Pro score?
In August of the current year, it was found out that several of Huawei’s new 5G supplies have received Bluetooth certification. Following that, Huawei upgraded the Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro, Mate 60 Pro+, Mate X5, MatePad Pro 13.2, MatePad Pro 11, and other smartphones with Kirin 9000s series CPUs, and now, according to the newest news, new mid-range and compact folding machines are on the way.
The digital chatting station broke the news: Huawei will release two Kirin 5G devices next, namely the Pocket small folding series new machine and the Nova 12 series new machine; the new small folding machine will still use a double round mirror design, and the Nova 12 Ultra just passed the 3C certification some days ago, indicating that it will be equipped with 100W charging. It also disclosed that “many goods are available, and mid-range 5G will fully return next year.”
In terms of core configuration, it was previously revealed that Huawei Nova 12 Ultra may be equipped with MatePad Pro 11 with the same Kirin 9000s low-frequency version of the processor (CPU is 1*2.49GHz, 3*2.15GHz, 4*1.53GHz, and Mate60Pro’s SoC super-large core frequency is 2.62GHz). I’m not sure if this is actually real or not, and the final official release will prevail.
On the other hand, the Realme GT5 Pro will be released at 14:00 (Beijing Time) on December 7, and the official appearance photographs of the machine were unveiled.
As seen in the image above, the real me GT5 Pro took the lead in announcing the two colors of “Red Rock” and “Starry Night” (the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology had previously exposed the white version), which includes the red rock brown variant using a plain leather back cover; finally, the rear protector of the Starry Night Black version uses Starlight AG glass technology; and the official also introduced the first ultra-duralumin metal middle frame.
The screen portion, Officially, the real me GT5 Pro has “no dual screen, challenging the world’s strongest 1.5K screen," a 6.78-inch 2780*1264 resolution centered single-hole AMOLED slightly curved screen, manual maximum brightness of 1000 nit, worldwide highest brightness of 1600 nit, local peak brightness of 4500 nit, 144 Hz 9T LTPO refresh rate, and 2160 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
As for the specifications, the Realme GT5 Pro body is about 9.2mm in terms of thickness and weighs about 220g. The primary lens is 32MP, the rear triple camera is 50MP (the IMX890 super daylight and shadow periscope is telephoto) + 8MP ultra wide angle, Snapdragon 8 Gen3, LPDDR5X, UFS4.0, 10,000-level VC heat dissipation area (12000mm2), 5400mAh battery, 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging.
The e-commerce portal revealed the pricing of the Realme GT5 Pro just a few days ago. The pricing starts at 3499 yuan (around $495 USD), although I’m not sure what the precise storage version starts at, but friends are in front, so I’m guessing at least 8+256GB or 12+256GB start at 3499 yuan (around $495 USD). If it’s true, I’m not sure whether you’re satisfied.
