Because Apple always believes that the MacBooks are not for gaming.

Now they realized it was a mistake thinking like that. So they are trying to change this approach by asking a favor from the game devs for M chips. Since they no more collaborate with Intel for their processors, don't expect them to collaborate with Nvidia for graphic cards since the M chips are good enough as GC.
