After the release of the iPhone 15 series last year, Apple officially pushed the new versions of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, and many iPhone users have upgraded to this system version. But how popular are iOS 17 and iPadOS 17? Let’s take a look at Apple’s recently released usage data.
Apple shared the latest usage statistics for iOS and iPadOS on its developer website, based on devices on the App Store, on February 4, 2024.
iPhone
In the case of iPhones, 76 percent of models released in the last four years are currently running iOS 17, while 20 percent are still using iOS 16. And 66% of all iPhones are running iOS 17. iOS 16 has 23% usage, and 11% of devices still use older versions.
