I’ve been waiting for this for years. I wasn’t a big fan of Pixels before switching from the Samsung Galaxy to the iPhone eight years ago after the failure of the Pixel 4. Furthermore, I saw Google hesitate year after year, focusing on the mid-range first before attempting semi-premium with the Pixel 6, never managing to rival Samsung or Apple. But this year, things changed because the Pixel 9 Pro is an accomplishment.

It’s simply Google finally achieving the mission it set with the first Pixel.

You’re reading Nov Tech. It’s Novy, and today we need to discuss Why I Left the iPhone for the Pixel 9 Pro After 8 Years.

Google’s Progress

At the unboxing, when you’ve known the previous Pixels, discovering the 9 Pro is a bit of a shock. What is this new design? Google adopts the trendy style on the market with flat edges, a shiny aluminum frame, and a matte glass back.

I have the “Versau,” which is more of a gray, almost gunmetal.
